dangerous ROX mouse over highlite bug

aarf
is in all recent puppys i have tested so i guess it is something to do with woof ce.
THIS WAS FIXED A NUMBER OF TIMES LONG AGO. why do these old bugs keep reappearing time and time again?

I suspect it's the way the fix was done, maybe a generic patch is
necessary if it's puppy specific problem, or ask the packages builder to
fix it there if it's a wider problem would be more appropriate.

i dont know enough to identify where the problem is coming from. someone who know more than me needs to look at it. micko knows about past occurrences of this bug.

Do you mean the focus bug when the jwm menu pops up ?

If you have problems:
Go to ROX-Filer options by right clicking on a PinBoard Icon,

and go to Types > Compatibility and check/uncheck the checkboxes under Window Manager Problems .

am starting to wonder about my sanity.
slacko5.7 fatdog701 lupu5287 all have this highlite bug
luki23 doesnt as it is not possible to highlite one file then click another because the highlight moves to the moused over file.
dpup was where i know it was fixed and perhaps pussy. still checking.
my late model laptop is having difficulty booting old puppies.

I suppose you have had a look in the old jwm buglist and also asked joew
if he remembers anything about it. I suspect it may have been attributed
to jwm in an early life. Yes I know it's now considered a ROX related
bug, but back when I was building pets for joew, a small number of bugs
that were from other apps flowed back and forth until it was confirmed
whose they ACTUALLY belonged too.

regards to all
